Ichnos Director, Ian Maclellan, featured on the Farming Advisory Service (FAS) podcast series on Scotland’s Natural Capital in January 2026.

Harry Fisher of FAS and Ian discussed Scotland’s environmental history, how our landscape was shaped, and how our understanding of the past can inform policy and practice in managing our landscape for the future.

The podcast series features discussions with a range of experts about Scotland’s natural capital – our natural resource, how we understand it and how we manage it. Harry and colleagues were excellent hosts and we’re very grateful for the chance to contribute.
